NOTE:Toensurethoroughcoverage,lightlybrushthereleaseagentwithasoftbrushoverallsurfacesofthemodel.Followwithalightmistcoatingandletthereleaseagentdryfor30minutes.Becausenotwoapplicationsarequitethesame,asmalltestapplicationtodeterminesuitabilityforyourprojectisrecommendedifperformanceofthismaterialisinquestion.

Measuring&Mixing...

Liquidurethanesaremoisturesensitiveandwillabsorbatmosphericmoisture.Mixingtoolsandcontainersshouldbecleanandmadeofmetalorplastic.Materialsshouldbestoredandusedinawarmenvironment(73°F/23°C).

IMPORTANT:StirPartBthoroughlybeforedispensing.AfterdispensingequalamountsofPartsAandBintomixingcontainer,mixthoroughlyforatleast3minutesmakingsurethatyouscrapethesidesandbottomofthemixingcontainerseveraltimes.

IfMixingLargeQuantities(16lbs./7kgs.ormore)atonetime,useamechanicalmixer(i.e.SquirrelMixerorequal)for3minutesfollowedbycarefulhandmixingforoneminuteasdirectedabove.Then,pourentirequantityintoanew,cleanmixingcontaineranddoitalloveragain.

Althoughthisproductisformulatedtominimizeairbubblesinyourthecuredrubber,vacuumdegassingpriortopouringrubberwillfurtherreduceentrappedair.

Pouring,Curing&Performance..

Forbestresults,pouryourmixtureinasinglespotatthelowestpointofthecontainmentfield.Lettherubberseekitslevelupandoverthemodel.Auniformflowwillhelpminimizeentrappedair.Theliquidrubbershouldleveloffatleast1/2”(1.3cm)overthehighestpointofthemodelsurface.

Curing-Allowrubbertocureaminimumof16-24hoursatroomtemperature(73°F/23°C)beforedemolding.

PostCuring-Optional...Followinganovernightcure,heatingtherubberto150°F(65°C)for4to8hourswillincreasephysicalpropertiesandperformance.

UsingTheMold-Ifusingasamoldmaterial,areleaseagentshouldbeappliedtothemoldbeforeeachcasting.

Performance&Storage-Fullycuredrubberistough,durableandwillperformifproperlyusedandstored.Thephysicallifeoftherubberdependsonhowyouuseit.
