What is Benzoic Acid
Benzoic acid is the simplest aromatic carboxylic acid.It is used in the production of numerous industrial additives such as the Benzoate plasticizers, Together with several of its salts, are used as food&feed preservatives. It's esters are common fragrances. In recent years, Benzoic acid is also found to be effective against piglets' post-weaning diarrhea when administered as a feed additive.
