Silica sol products are colorless, transparent or milky white translucent colloidal liquids with a certain viscosity. When water evaporates, they are solid silica and can form gel with electrolytes. This product is non-toxic, non corrosive, non combustible, non explosive, soluble in sodium hydroxide solution. It is compatible with alcohol, acetone and other organic solvents mixed with water in any proportion, but not compatible with other organic compounds.
Main uses: used as silicon steel sheet treatment agent, catalyst preparation, battery electrolyte raw material, paper industry additive, precision casting adhesive, refractory processing adhesive, textile coating industry additive, etc.
Technological process: sodium silicate becomes active silica sol after being exchanged by cation exchange resin. The active silica sol is added into the reaction tank at a certain flow rate. When heated, the active silica sol grows to the standard size. After pH adjustment, it becomes dilute silica sol. After cooling, ultrafiltration to the required concentration, it is packaged and inspected as finished product. Raw material preparation → cation resin treatment → cation exchange → particle size growth → ultrafiltration and concentration → packaging → inspection → warehousing.
