Part I: Anti-Rust Preventative
Basic barium dinonylnaphthalene sulfonate (Chorus BSB) is a versatile oil-soluble anti-rust additive used in rust preventive formulations.
It has excellent anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties for ferrous metals.
It has good oil-soluble stability and excellent demulsibility.
It has an alkalinity reserve in the form of barium hydroxid Ba(OH)2 with a base value of approximately 45mgKOH/g to neutralize acidic components in lubricant oil.
Chorus BSB has a base value from barium hydroxid, which can result in slight corrosion to copper and some nonferrous metals.
In some extreme-pressure oil formulations, Chorus BSB may slightly affect the oil's extreme-pressure performance.

Storage: Store in a cool,dry place away from any direct source of heat and moisture. Maximum recommended storage temperature is 45°C.
Shelf life: 3 years. If beyond the storage period, it can still be used after passing the test.
