etrolatum mastic, also known as:
etrolatum oil mastic, Petrolatum sealing putty. It is made of inert mineral grease, filler, corrosion inhibitor, corrosion resistance agent and other polymer materials, which are condensed into crystallization through physical reaction.
Petrolatum
mastic has high viscosity, flexibility and plasticity, and is resistant to chemical attack. Suitable for oil and gas, chemical, nuclear power, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, construction and other industries, mainly used for irregular steel components, such as: valves, flanges, pipe joints and other more complex shape of the workpiece or uneven surface, to fill the concave and convex, improve its shape, to avoid the bridge or hole in the later process. Usually the bottom is the mineral grease primer, the outside is the mineral grease anticorrosive tape, the use of mineral grease slurry in the middle, and finally the polymer adhesive tape (elastic sealing belt) for protection, forming a multi-layer material composite anti-corrosion protection system.
