Polycaprolactone is an organic high molecular polymer with the chemical formula of (C6H10O2) n, which is well soluble in Aromatic compound, ketones and polar solvents. It is caused by ε- Caprolactone is polymerized by ring opening polymerization under the conditions of metal organic compounds (such as tetraphenyltin) as catalysts and dihydroxy or trihydroxy groups as initiators. It belongs to the polymerized polyester, and its molecular weight and degree of disproportionation vary with the type and dosage of the starting material.
