Type K Thermocouple Probe PT100 Temperature Sensors
1. Working Principle
A device for accurate measurement of temperature.
A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar metals joined at two joints in a loop so that the difference in voltage can be measured.
Because voltage changes in proportion to temperature, the voltage difference indicates temperature differences.
2. Calibrations
Thermocouples are available in different combinations of metals or calibrations.
Thermocouples known as Types J, K, T, E and N.
Although thermocouple calibration dictates the temperature range, the maximum range is also limited by the diameter of the thermocouple wire.
