Picocom, the 5G Open RAN baseband semiconductor and software specialist, announces that Wave Electronics, a developer and manufacturer of 5G base station equipment, has designed-in Picocom’s PC802system-on-chip (SoC) into its latest Open RAN product, the WEH47-TM24B radio unit (O-RU).

In conjunction with Wave Electronics, Picocom will showcase the new deployment-ready O-RU in a live end-to-end demonstration at MWC Barcelona 2024 (26-29 February 2024).
