These components boast high shielding effectiveness and are designed to address the challenges posed by portable devices with stringent constraints on size, environment, weight, and shielding effectiveness. They are suitable for use in parts such as keyboards and display windows that require electromagnetic shielding. The upgraded version of the metal shielding components is a novel shielding ventilation panel, made by combining nickel, iron, and other foamed metals with a large number of stacked micropores, with a nickel-plated high permeability metal mesh through special processing techniques. The nickel-based foamed metal has a smaller micropore size, allowing it to achieve higher broadband shielding effectiveness and dust filtration performance within a limited thickness. The nickel-plated high permeability metal mesh not only protects the softer foamed metal but also provides enhanced low-frequency magnetic shielding capabilities.

Application Guidance

The metal mesh shielding components are currently mainly used in three types of applications:Electromagnetic shielding for keyboard, buttons, and other similar parts. Due to the functional requirements of keyboards and buttons, the mesh used in the metal mesh pressure frames for these areas needs to have a certain degree of looseness. Typically, the deformation of the mesh at any point within the frame should not be less than 2mm. The commonly used mesh size is 400 mesh.Electromagnetic shielding for display window areas. The mesh pressure frames used for display windows typically select a 100 mesh metal wire screen. The mesh should be flat at this point, as any unevenness could affect the display quality.Used for shielding and dust filtration at ventilation openings within equipment, such as the shielding dustproof mesh used on 3-Shines ventilation components.
