In the process of hot metal preparation,quality and temperature must be strictlycontrolled. Each furnace and each package mustbe analyzed by composition so that the molteniron is completely in line with castingre- quirements. Water-cooled metal mold centrifuge was usedto cast high-temperature molten iron, which wascontinuously poured into the high-speed rotating- pipe mold and solidified to form ductile iron pipeby water cooling. Cast ductile iron pipes areimmediately inspected and weighed to ensure that- the quality of each pipe meets the requirements.

The cast ductile iron pipe enters the annealingfurnace. The length of the annealing furnace in our company is 70m, where is the longest in China. It can ensure that the cast iron pipe is annealed sufficiently to obtain the metallographic structureneeded for the ductile iron pipe.

According to the customer's requirement, the high-pressure electric spray- ing machine is used tospray zinc according to ISO2531 internationalstan- dard (130g/m2) to increase the anticorrosionability. Qualified ductile iron pipes are sent to thegrinding position for external inspection, and each- pipe bearing, socket, inner wall grinding andcleaning.

The well-maintained pipes are first heatedand then sprayed with anticor- rosive paint by anai!tomatic spraying machine to increase theanticorrosive ability of the pipes.
