Introduce:
Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), belonging to the polyester series, is a milky white, semi-transparent to opaque, crystalline thermoplastic polyester resin made from the polycondensation of 1.4-pbt butylene glycol with terephthalic acid (PTA) or terephthalic acid ester (DMT), and made by a blending procedure. Collectively known as thermoplastic polyester or saturated polyester together with PET, PBT is one of the toughest engineering thermoplastics, it is semi-crystalline and has very good chemical stability, mechanical strength, electrical insulation properties and thermal stability.
Most of the PBT resin is processed into blends for use, modified with various additives, and blended with other resins to obtain good heat resistance, flame retardant, electrical insulation and other comprehensive performance and good processing performance. Widely used in electrical appliances, automobiles, aircraft manufacturing, communications, home appliances, transportation and other industries.
